Campden Tablets are primarily is used in Wine, Cider & Beer making to kill bacteria and to inhibit the growth of wild yeast.
Campden Tablets can also be used to eliminate free Chlorine & Chloramine, from water solutions.
To sanitise fruit must-
Crush & dose 1 tablet per 4.5L, mix thoroughly and stand for 24hours before pitching yeast
To preserve wine & cider-
Crush & dose 1-2 tablets per 4.5L prior to bottling
It is recommended to use Potassium Sorbate after treating with Campden for bottling
