Saaz hops, also known as Czech Saaz or Žatecký hops, are a variety of hops that are primarily grown in the Czech Republic. These hops are highly valued for their delicate and spicy aroma, which is often described as Earthy, Herbal, & slightly Floral.

Saaz hops are also known for their refined and subtle flavour profile, which can add a pleasant bitterness to a beer without overwhelming other flavours. 

They have a low alpha acid content, which makes them ideal for use in Lagers, Pilsners, and other Light-bodied beers.
