Malted from yellow Dent Corn grown locally on the fertile soils of the Murrumbidgee Irration Area. Voyager Malted Corn undergoes a long germination and high extended curing to produce a rich, intense flavour profile. Our malted corn benefits from being milled extremely fine before being added to the mash. Our Malted corn provides a much fuller, rounded and intense sweet corn flavour than raw corn. It can be added directly to the mash without requiring pre boiling or step mashing.
We recommend adding Rice or Oat Hulls to recipes using more than 10% to avoid a stuck mash.
Use: Malted Corn adds mild less malty flavour to beers. Provides a drier and crisper beer.
