How to Use Campden Tablets
For Sanitising Fruit Must
Crush and add 1 tablet per 4.5 litres. Mix thoroughly and leave for 24 hours before pitching yeast.
For Preserving Wine and Cider
Crush and add 1–2 tablets per 4.5 litres prior to bottling.
Potassium Sorbate is recommended after Campden treatment when required for bottling and stabilisation.
Campden Tablets for Brewing Water
Campden Tablets can also be used to remove free chlorine and chloramine from brewing water.
