Citra is a highly sought-after variety of hop. It is known for its distinct, Fruity & Citrusy aroma, with notes of Grapefruit, Lime, & Tropical Fruit.

It imparts a balanced bitterness to beer and is often used in American-style IPAs & Pale Ales, Double IPAs & Hazy IPAs.

Citra hops have a moderate alpha acid content (usually around 11-15%) and are prized for their ability to add flavour & aroma without overwhelming the taste of the beer.
